buttercups and flowers...

It has been unusually sunny today for the rainy weather here in England so I decided to step up on my photography skills with this chance.

Unfortunately, I couldn't find many models but what I did find were two adorable rabbits I could easily make use of. They were pretty easy to photograph seeing as their props only needed to be tiny and suited for little miniature cuties like them.

And I'm proud to say it, they make the most cutest rabbit models on earth! I just love the way they are soooo suited to the location seeing as they are - yes adapted to this habitat. duhh.

I am also beginning to make use of the longer hours of the day now that summer is approaching. I just love those mornings when you wake up and the sun is already brightly shining.

I will defo be doing more photoshoots with my rabbits. I am sure they are free anytime for me to tamper with unless they are busy nibbling their carrot sticks!

Goodbye...

It has most certainly been a VERY tough time for me this past month, hence I haven't been here very much. Sadly, Maisy has passed away on 10th April.

She slowly drifted away in her dreams that night and when I went downstairs, I was at least happy to see all her pain gone. She was a fairly old rabbit and to be quite honest, I knew this day was going to come soon...

It was just that I couldn't bear to let go of her.... I believe she is in safe hands now with God eating all the carrots she had wished for.

The past 8 years with Maisy has been incredible ever since I had adopted her. I still have the memory of taking her back home with me in a little cardboard box. She was ever so tiny then and she was just like my best friend! She was my first and most amazing rabbit.

One of my favourite memories with her was coming down every morning and seeing her run around the cage with a piece of newspaper in her mouth. - I guess she was doing a bit of morning exercise?! It made my day literally every day and the way her little flopped ears flapped about as she ran really made me laugh, even now as I am writing this!

I went to a pet show during the weekend where I saw many rabbits. They were all so cute and reminded me of the good times I had with Maisy. No one can replace her and I'll always remember her little twitching whiskers! All I have to say now is to treasure the two adorable rabbits I have now :)

We have had such happy memories together and I will not ever forget this truly amazing rabbit. I will miss you so much Maisy and remember to be a good girl!

Lots of love, xox.

It's natural.

Yes. rabbits like to eat grass. Yes. rabbits like the bathe in the sun. and Yes. rabbits like to dig holes. BIG holes. So I left my rabbits to bathe in the sun yesterday with a shade to keep them cool. Time passed and I went out to check on them and was shocked to see that they have dug themselves a little hole in the newly laid lawn! Annoyed as I was, I knew it was natural for rabbits so I had to deal with it. I covered it up and tried to make the hole seem a little less obvious in case my dad decided to come out and check out the garden. And no, I'm not so good with gardening and as soon as my dad found out, oh did he just get annoyed. There's only one difference this time though - it wasn't me nor my sister who annoyed him. It was midnight.

It's been tough.

Hi guys, its me, mummy of my little BunBuns. It has been quite a tough week; Maisy collapsed on Monday morning and was unable to get up. I could see she was scared and didn't know what to do. Her leg shook and she looked at me for help. At that moment, I couldn't hold it in and tears started to roll down my cheeks as I wondered whether this will be Maisy's last day on Earth before returning to heaven to see all her friends. Unlucky for me, I had school and had to leave in a hurry; my mum decided she would look after Maisy for me as petted her gently. As I sat in the car, I prayed to God, asking him to look after Maisy until I got back home; I asked for a bit longer so that I could spend more precious time with my girl. You've guessed it, my day at school wasn't great - I couldn't concentrate and the thought of Maisy leaving left me feeling upset the whole day. I returned home as early as I could and was surprised to see Maisy happily eating a carrot! Shocked as I was, I wondered what my mum had done to Maisy! Unfortunately, she was still lying there but having seen some strength in her, and a little push from me, she managed to sit up straight again! I thanked God soooo much and was so relieved to see her having the energy in herself again. For the rest of the evening, I spent some time with my girl and allowed her to roam around the house for a bit until she cheered up and got her wobbly legs going. That night, I tucked her up in a separate cage from Midnight and Charcoal so that she could get her full rest. Happily, I went to bed and as I rushed down to see Maisy the next morning, she was found well and alive again! I cannot put into words how happy I was. Until today, Maisy is still well and we have placed the three back together where Maisy could get her full attention from the two. It is great seeing Maisy return to her usual self and from this I have learnt to things:
 - to appreciate Maisy's being here with me and to spend more precious time with her
 - I hate Mondays.

Lots of love,
BunBun and Co.

Welcome to BunBun's very own blog!

Hello fellow bloggers,

We are three bunnies named Maisy, Midnight and Charcoal. We have an owner who loves a lot and we have a very close relationship together. Maisy is the oldest out of all of us. She's nearly 8 years old - good thing she has white fur, you can't tell she's getting old! Midnight and Charcoal are twins, both aged 3. Oh, and did we mention that we were all girls?!
Welcome to carrot-candyfloss-land, a land of fun
and carrots. We love you!

Lots of love,
BunBun and co.

P.S. don't forget to check out 'with a dusting of icing sugar' here, our owner loves to cook!
